Pierangelo
Andreani

Since 1970

Born in Sondrio in 1947, the passion for design and materials begins in childhood between the sheets of notebooks and the clay and plaster models of the company of cement products of his grandfather Alberto and his father Mario: thus begins, at an early age, the association between art and material that will define the whole professional life of Pierangelo Andreani.

Background

In the nautical world, the partnership with Cranchi lasted thirty years, from 1975 to 2005, when the relationship with the French shipyard Beneteau began and continues to this day. Another fruitful collaboration with Fountaine Pajot for motor catamarans was added in 2014. In the nautical field, mention should also be made of the collaboration with the Colombo shipyard, the long-term cooperation with Selva Marine outboard engines and boats and with Besenzoni nautical accessories.

In 1981 he founded Andreani Design and became a consultant for Cagiva, he later collaborated with Yamaha Italy, Gilera, Malaguti, Toyota, Piaggio. Various works for industrial design, we remember the most important companies: SCM group: woodworking machines, RIELLO: burners, AL – CO: lawn mowers, CEV: motorcycles accessory, LA PRIMA: power bike, WARCOM: metalworking machines.

He founded Tria Design, to design and create models and prototypes (operational from 1985 to 1999) with Jorge Arcuri and Canzio Lavelli, a company that has operated in the automotive sector with various creations for Fiat, Nissan, Renault, Mazda, Pininfarina, Moto Guzzi, Yamaha and Sym scooters.

Since 1987 the relationship with Nova Design has not yet been interrupted, the most important design studio in Taiwan, also present in China, and the United States, with them it makes scooters for SYM and various industrial products.

His passion for car design led him to Turin in 1970, to the Fiat style center where he made the RITMO design. In 1972 he moved to Pininfarina where in 1976 he designed the Ferrari Mondial 8. In that same year he was called by De Tomaso to design the Moto Guzzi, Benelli and Maserati Biturbo two end four door and  Maserati 228.
